Handshakes...

Was at work today. My manager was regaling the story where we did a presentation at an un-named local polytechnic. After the presentation, a lecturer came up to me and shook my hand. I hate it when people shake my hand and turned it to one side. Y'know, the aggressive type where people do that to exert dominance over the other.

Well, my director started laughing and explained that her daughter who is raised in Australia told her this before. Gays in Australia usually do this to new guys they meet to test if they are gay and interested as well. If they are, they would flip the handshake back.

Thankfully, I'm usually quite passive. SO, no flipping of the hand for me there... Now, I dunno if the doode's gay and if yes, should I feel flattered? Hmmm...
